JTF California 2025 – Moana Jr – Ages 8 through 18
Auditions: July 18th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm
What: Sing 30 seconds of any song of your choice. The audition will last two hours. Please dress ready to dance.

Where: Sacramento, California
What: Students will perform a selection of Moana Jr. for Broadway professionals. Broadway professionals and master teachers from across the globe offer interactive workshops in all aspects of musical theatre performance. Groups will rotate around THREE separate workshops, each focusing on one of the core skills; acting, singing and dancing. During adjudications, 2 students will be selected as All Stars. All Stars will participate in an exclusive workshop and will rehearse and perform a featured number at the Awards Ceremony on the main stage. Other amazing things at the festival include the tech Olympics, Awards Ceremony, New Works Showcase, special performances, surprise guests and fun, fun, FUN!
JTF California rehearsal schedule:
We will meet Thursday evening at the Fort Myers Theatre from 5:00pm – 8:00pm starting November 7th. There will be no rehearsal November 28th, December 26th, January 2nd.
Tech rehearsal | February 2nd – 4th | 5:00pm – 8:00pm
Preview performances | February 4th | 7:00pm – 8:00pm
Cost | $600 per student | $375 per chaperone or family member attending the festival
A $375 non-refundable deposit is required once you are accepted to the team.
Each student must have a parent chaperone for the festival. A parent may be responsible for up to 4 children (JTF rule).
Chaperones and additional members must be paid for by August 31st. We pay all the entrance fees September 1st, these fees are non-refundable. We also can’t make any changes once our payment is submitted.
The student balance is due October 31st.
